Whale season is a special time of year on Maui. Between December and May, some 10,000 whales migrate to the island where they can be seen playing, courting and teaching their young. The most spectacular view is a full breach out of the water, with the whale's tail lingering above the water. This necklace is inspired by this monumental sight, with a whale tail splashing along a wave, accented with aqua blue topaz and blue zircon.
